The Turnover Index in Industry decreased by 7.9% in the period January – November 2020, compared to the corresponding period of 2019.
According to the Statistical Service, the index for the domestic market decreased by 10.0%, while for exports it increased by 4.3%.
In November 2020, the index decreased by 5.7%, compared to November 2019, and fell to 131.9 points (base 2015 = 100).
According to the Statistical Service, in the manufacturing sector in November 2020 the index reached 138.5 points, a decrease of 3.6% compared to November 2019.
A decrease was also observed in the electricity supply sector by 19.7%. On the contrary, there was an increase in the sector of water supply and material recovery by 10.1% and in the sector of mines and quarries by 0.7%.
