On Friday, the Pafos District Court imposed a prison sentence of two and a half years on a 26-year-old for a case of illegal possession of a controlled drug with the purpose of supply.
The 26-year-old, who was already in custody, appeared before the Paphos District Court which imposed prison terms on him, with a longer one of two and a half years for the case of illegal possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely 48.89 grams of methamphetamine with the purpose of supply.
In addition, the Paphos District Court imposed on the 26-year-old shorter prison terms, 12 months for the crime of of possession of 5 grams of cocaine and 3 months for illegal use of a controlled drug of class A.
The sentences, as stated in the Court, are concurrent, while the accused had admitted the commission of the offences.
