The Famagusta District Court issued a five-day detention order today against two more people in connection with 70 cases of car theft and burglary.
The two were arrested yesterday, under court warrants, in the context of the investigation of 70 cases of car theft and two burglaries and thefts, committed in recent months in municipalities and communities of Famagusta province.
In a statement, the Communication Branch of the Police states that “the 18-year-old and the 20-year-old, who were arrested yesterday, were brought before the Famagusta District Court today, for the issuance of a detention order, to facilitate investigations into heaps of car theft and robbery cases. . “The court issued a five-day detention order against them.”
For the same cases, a third person aged 19 is already in custody. The investigation of the cases was undertaken by the special investigative team of ADE Famagusta.
