Two persons were accused in writing of illegal employment and illegal employment in Paphos.
According to the Press Representative of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou on February 5, members of the Aliens and Immigration Service went to a restaurant in Paphos based on information that illegal persons were employed there.
In the restaurant, members of the Aliens and Immigration Service spotted a person cleaning tables abroad area of the restaurant.
As it became clear, this is a 26-year-old asylum seeker who does not hold a work permit, while a 41-year-old woman was indicated as the employer.
The two persons were taken to the Paphos police station, where were accused in writing, the 26-year-old for illegal employment and the 41-year-old for illegal employment. They were subsequently released to be summoned later.
