A forest fire that broke out in an area of the community of Kellaki was finally brought under full control.
According to an announcement by the Forest Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, today, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 18:45, a fire broke out in an area of the community of Kellaki.
The intervention of the forest fire brigade was immediate, with the result that the fire was brought under control at 19:20, burning an area of five tens with low wild vegetation.
The firefighting operation involved six people from the Forest Department with three fire trucks and four people from the Fire Department with two vehicles.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
