After extensive investigations, the finding is in the hands of the Legal Service. The multi-page report will be put under the microscope of the General Prosecutor's Office from Monday.

The terms of the order, which the 4 criminal investigators had received, were clear.

The four criminal investigators were appointed last July by the Assistant Attorney General at the base the court decision for the life sentence Dimitris Mamalikopoulos, the revelations of SIGMA, information from the Police and a note from the Minister of Justice.

In the Mamalikopoulos case, the Larnaca Criminal Court found the lifer guilty of all 24 charges he was facing.

According to the Court's findings, the defendant, while serving a life sentence for the murder of five people in Ayia Napa, communicated through a mobile phone that he had in his possession in the Central Prisons with his executor-associate, who was outside the Central Prisons, with the intention of killing specific persons.

According to the Legal Service, the conclusion of the four, which is accompanied by a huge amount of witness material, results in findings and recommendations.

The head of the group of criminal investigators, Michalakis Christodoulou, said that "whatever you want to be informed, you can do so by asking questions to the Attorney General, or the Assistant Attorney General.

The Emilianidis report is already before the Prosecutors, while the findings of the police investigations in relation to the brutal murder of a convict last week in the Central Prisons are expected to reach them.

Responsibilities for the murder of the 41-year-old convict in central prisons, medical examiner Marios Matsakis sees. "There are very serious responsibilities for which the Administration of the Central Prisons must answer".

Marios Matsakis was asked to comment on the transfer of the body of the murdered convict and how it affects the investigations. "If the transfer took place while he was dead and moved, this is difficult to understand. If he was moved with the input of the prison authorities, a proper autopsy could not be done.
The Legal Service will examine the conclusion of the criminal investigators and decide whether or not to initiate criminal charges.
