Athens “woke up” in white on Tuesday morning, as the bad weather “Medea” brought snow even in the city center.
Meteorologists had warned several days ago that we will see snow even in the center of the capital, but the reality is beyond imagination!
Apart from the Northern Suburbs, where it was expected, a large amount of snow has fallen in Athens, with the result that snow is observed even in Kolonaki, on Patriarch Ioakeim, but also on Amalias Avenue.
We are certainly not used to seeing the Acropolis “dressed” in white…
The snowy Syntagma Square and the Parliament…
And the Zappeion…
The Kallimarmaro…
Plaka and Dionysiou Areopagitou were also “dressed” in white, with the images looking as if they were taken from a fairy tale.
However, the snow reached the sea, as we see in the following images from the beach of Paleo Faliro….
Nea Smyrni is also in a white circle…
The passing of the bad weather “Medea” dressed the whole of Attica in white, creating a scene that we certainly do not see often and we will probably make years to forget.
The snow-covered Athens from end to end, reminds that it was taken from a painting. The journalist of the magazine “4 Wheels”, Manolis Salouros, with a drone, “flew” over the all-white Athens and the images he gives us are impressive.
