Up 13.9% in value, 7.3% in retail volume in February

The turnover in Retail Trade increased in February both in terms of value and volume

Turnover in Retail Trade moved upwards in February both in terms of value and volume.

According to data published on Monday by the Statistical Service, the Value Index Retail Trade Turnover increased in February 2023 by 13.9% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, while during the same month the Retail Trade Turnover Index increased by 7.3% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year .

For the first months of 2023, the Retail Trade Turnover Value Index shows an increase of 13.7% while the Turnover Index shows a rise of 6.8%.
