– Congenital heart disease after surgical correction with significant residual damage or non-corrected congenital heart disease with significant residual damage.
– Active use of biological agents (eg TNF inhibitors, interleukin inhibitors) or other immunosuppressive drugs
– Patients with hemoglobinopathy
– Patients with Diabetes
– People with severe obesity
– Patients with a history of transplantation
– People with immunodeficiency

For this purpose, an Ad-Hoc Committee has been established by Ministerial Decision for the elaboration of a Plan of Hierarchy of Vaccination Teams on the basis of Morbidity on the basis of a specific categorization.
This Committee consists of the Deputy Director of Medical Services and Public Health Services and representatives of the Pancyprian Medical Association, the Federation of Cyprus Patients Associations and the Lecturer of the Medical School of the University of Cyprus Dr. Irini Christakis, on behalf of the Advisory Board.
Based on the recommendations of the Ad-Hoc Committee, the Ministry of Health will inform the respective patient groups about how they can be included in the priority groups for vaccination, the procedure by which they can express interest in vaccination, as well as its planning. their appointment.
