Vaccinations continue for people over 80 in Larnaca and free Famagusta

Vaccinations of the population in Larnaca and the free province of Famagusta continue normally.

As Amalia Hatzigianni, Scientific Director of the Larnaca-Famagusta General Hospitals, told KYPE, “at the Famagusta General Hospital, the population is vaccinated daily this week for people over 80 years old. A total of about 80 people are vaccinated daily, who have made an appointment through the Vaccination Portal “.

He added that “next week the vaccinations will take place from Monday to Thursday”.

In Larnaca, Covid-19 vaccinations are given daily to people over the age of 80 and a total of about 100 people a day receive the vaccine at the Vaccination Department of the city's old hospital.

It is reminded that the public goes to the Vaccination Centers with their ID and after it is confirmed that they have registered in the Vaccination Portal, then the vaccination takes place.

Citizens then stay in the area for about 15 minutes in case they possibly get anything from the vaccine and then leave after first getting the document stating their appointment for the next dose of the vaccine.
