Only a European Covid certificate or corresponding certificate will be allowed in the Vatican State for workers, residents and visitors. The measure will be implemented from October 1.
Citizens who have a certificate of vaccination, illness or have undergone a negative coronavirus test will have the right to enter the Holy See.
Pope Francis himself recently called for “any measures that may increase emergency health prevention.”
To watch the operation inside the Vatican, however, you will not need a green card. However, all protection and prevention measures must be respected, starting with the observance of the safety distances that have been set.
