He got a call from Blaz Verhovec's national team. by his federal coach for the games with Sweden, Serbia, Norway and (again) Serbia that will take place between 2 and 12 June for the Nations League.

O The 30-year-old central midfielder, who has so far recorded five appearances with the coat of arms, returns to his national team after November 2021, as his name was absent from the March friendly call.
