According to the British newspaper Times, more than 400 Russian mercenaries are already in Kyiv to assassinate Zelensky and thus take over the pro-Russian government.
The Wagner team is led by Dmitry Utkin. Utkin and his team were in Crimea in 2014 as well as in Donbass. He is believed to have been responsible for the executions of several Ukrainian officers in Lugansk.
According to the Times, Russian mercenaries have been in the Ukrainian capital since Saturday.
