A heavy bell rang at a well-known cafe in Engomi, as there was no one to check for SafePass. The sad one amounted to eight thousand euros.

The Police proceeded to 28 complaints of citizens and 2 owners of premises in the last 24 hours, all over Cyprus, after 2,975 inspections carried out, in order to verify the observance and implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infectious Diseases.

According to a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, 1,204 checks were carried out in Nicosia, out of which 2 complaints were made by citizens and 2 complaints were made by officials in charge, in Limassol 278 checks were carried out, out of which 8 complaints were made by citizens.

In Larnaca 476 inspections were carried out, out of which 2 complaints of citizens were made, in Paphos 96 inspections were carried out, out of which 3 complaints of citizens were made, in Famagusta 538 inspections were carried out, out of which 13 complaints were made by citizens and in Morfos area 77 inspections were carried out to file a complaint.

Also, all over Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 192 inspections, without any complaints.

Also, there were no complaints in 114 checks carried out by the Port and Maritime Police.
