The leader of the European People's Party, Manfred Weber, supported the strengthening of the external borders of the European Union in a post on Twitter, on the occasion of what is happening on the Polish-Belarusian border.
“Without strong external borders, Lukashenko will blackmail Europe, as Erdogan tried through Greece,” Weber said in a statement.
“We must immediately expand the sanctions list for Belarus to include companies / individuals involved in these trafficking operations and to support front-line countries in every possible way,” the statement added.
