Meteorological Service forecast – Light rain affects area!
Todayinitially the weather will be mostly clear, although in the west and north locally increased clouds will be observed. Gradually the weather will become partly cloudy and temporarily mostly cloudy and isolated rains are expected mainly in the mountains and in the north. Winds will blow, initially variable and later sea, light 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm. The temperature will rise to 21 degrees inland, around 19 on the coast and around 11 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonightthere will be temporarily increased clouds. The winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast weak, up to 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm. The temperature will drop to around 6 degrees in the interior, around 9 on the coasts and 1 degree in the higher mountains, where locally frost is expected to form.
On Saturday, at noon. and early afternoon, locally increased clouds are expected to give isolated showers. On Sunday, the weather will be mostly clear, although mainly in the west and mountains there will be increased cloudiness. On Monday the weather will be mostly sunny.
The temperature will not change significantly on Saturday, while on Sunday and Monday it will > gradually rising, to fluctuate significantly above the average climatic values.
The height of the snow in Troodos Square, at the time of issuing the bulletin, was 27 cm.
