The Ministry of the Interior is in the stage of preparing the guides for the plans announced for the housing sector as well as the creation of an electronic platform, as the Press Spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Margarita Kyriakou, said on the show “NEWS DISTRIBUTION” .
The housing plans
– Plan to renovate – rent: The plan is expected to come into force from January 2024. It is estimated that the first units will join within the first quarter of 2024.
– Subsidy scheme for young couples up to 41 years of age: The scheme is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2024, enabling to 200 couples to apply and it will last two years.
– Plan built to rent: The plan is aimed at professionals in the sector and you will give them an increased building factor. The plan will be ready by the end of the year, as the detailed technical specifications are being prepared.
– Plot allocation plan for low-income families: The plan starts at the beginning of the year and will initially concern 400 families.
