At the top of the annual list of the richest stars on Instagram, is the Portuguese ace, Cristiano Ronaldo who is estimated to be able to ask up to 1.6 million dollars to advertise a product on social media.
The amount that Ronaldo is estimated to be asking for a sponsorship increased significantly last year, when it doubled from the 889,000 dollars he received in 2019, which was third on the list.

“With the start of the Euro and some controversial marketing moves over the last two weeks, Ronaldo's presence has skyrocketed,” said Mike Bandar, co-founder of HopperHQ.com, which compiles the unofficial annual list of Instagram's top winners.
“Just a week ago he confirmed that he is the king of Instagram as he became the most popular person on the platform,” he added.
The list of the Top 10 includes only one more athlete and he is none other than Messi, who is ranked seventh and can charge almost 1.2 million dollars to promote a product on social media.
