The investigation of the case began at the end of March 2017, when the Police received information from Nova Hellas that certain persons operating in Greece, in collaboration with other persons in Bulgaria and Cyprus, set up an experimental network which illegally distributed a streaming subscription signal to the television packages of Nova, OTE, Sky UK, Bein Sports, Sky Italia, Sky DE and other large subscription packages abroad.
