Sponsorships are state benefits, which are disbursed from the Budget to finance the actions of legal and/or natural persons that aim
(a) to promote the achievement of a specific goal or business activity and/or
(b) to financially support legal and/or natural persons with regard to their operating expenses.
For example, donations are the sums of money granted by the Budget as contributions to legal and/or natural persons to cover specific needs.
The publication specifically concerns relevant payments over five thousand euros, which were paid to natural and/or and legal entities in the year 2023 per article of expenditure for each Ministry/Under-Ministry/Department/Service of the Government.
