Anorthosis achieved its first victory at the “Alfamega” stadium, where it won 2-0 against AEL for the 4th game of the playoffs of the championship. “Kyria” was better than her opponent and with two goals from Guerrero in the 40th minute and Ferreira in the 56th minute, she got the three points, rising to 43 points and in the 2nd place of the second group. AEL did not perform as it should, they were inferior to the circumstances and accepted the defeat, remaining at 39 points and in 3rd place.
First half
In the first part in in the first few minutes we didn't have any great chances, with both teams playing conservative football and not opening up easily to threaten the opponent's goal.
The first phase in the match took place in the 9th minute after AEL committed a foul threatened, but Kontinella's header went just outside the goal of Keravnos.
From then on, Anorthosis was the team that kept the ball in the stadium more, but without being able to become particularly threatening, just like AEL, as it failed to threaten the goal of Keravnos.
