In the absence of Kyle Laferty who was left out of the mission, Onisiforos Rousias is showing a basic jersey for Thursday's game (16/9, 22:00) with Partizan in GSP, for the 1st game of the Conference League.
The Cypriot forward has a big lead over Katsarava and is expected to be the one selected by Timur Ketspaia for the top of the attack.
The other scenario, which has less chances, however, is for the Anorthosis coach to choose Christodoulopoulos as a “pseudo-nine”. It is more probable than to see Katsarava as a key player, but the prevailing scenario is the one with Russia at the top.
If there is a second change in the lineup, it is expected to be in the midfield, where Hussbauer is claiming a position. It is quite possible to see the trio that famously did well in the qualifiers (Artimatas-Husbauer-Popovic) and Warda either on the bench or at the ends. The defensive quartet remains unchanged.
