Head of Sales

He has been with Wolt for the past four years, having previously had a long career in sales. He has taken positions even in foreign markets for Wolt, and today he is the head of the Cyprus team.

Andreas is convinced that he made the best professional choice and stands by the team spirit that characterizes the way the company operates. “Our team members may be different characters and personalities with different interests, but we are united by a warm and family environment at Wolt. The way the company operates has turned us into a dynamic team, utilizing the best elements and characteristics of each of us”.

Andreas Papagiannis emphasizes that Wolt “is not just a distribution service, but a leading technology company, with many innovative products that we have already launched in Cyprus, with the aim of reaching even more people with all our services”.

As one of the oldest members of the Cyprus team, Andreas certainly has many stories to share from the beginning of Wolt in Cyprus, to the current success, however he promises that the team will continue to strengthen with the aim of staying at the top and the best possible service for the consumer and partner businesses.

He is one of the first Wolt people in Cyprus. Before returning to the country permanently, he gained valuable experiences from international companies in the “capital” of startups and young entrepreneurship in Spain, Barcelona. “We are primarily a young team, with talent, a 'championship' spirit and ambitions to achieve great things, but at the same time with humility and an appetite for hard work. It is in my opinion the secret recipe for the rapid growth of Wolt in Cyprus”.

The company is now working on further enriching its portfolio as well as on the geographical expansion of its activities. “We want to expand the range of choices our users will be able to find within the app in both quality food and retail products. Constantinos Patsalidis

He has been with Wolt for the past 3.5 years, having started as a manager of the company's distributor partners, rising to the position of Head of Sales Support. Konstantinos reveals that he has passed through several positions in the company, until he reached the position he is in today, including that of distributor. “A special story was when we started our operation in the free area of ​​Famagusta and we could not find distributors in the first weeks. This pushed us to the decision to do the distribution ourselves and even though it seemed difficult at first, we approached the whole effort as a team, we enjoyed the experience and that is why to this day we have countless funny stories to tell from those first days when we opened the area”, he emphasizes.

He singles out the spirit of teamwork and mutual respect that prevails in the company and the collective effort for easy and difficult projects, stating that “the application is constantly evolving and our team is working hard to present innovative services that will pave the way for new partnerships that will leverage the existing distribution model in even more areas”.

He has been working for the company since April 2022, having studied hotel management in the Netherlands, while specializing in restaurant electronic systems, menu management and costing, and banquet organization. “Our team is made up of highly capable executives who work with the aim of making Wolt the best delivery service in Cyprus. Most of us have been working here since the first days of the company's presence in our country. This means that Wolt manages to keep its people, at a time when few companies can claim anything like that. We are proud of the progress the company has made so far.”

He even adds as an important advantage the transparent way the company operates: “there is constant information about the progress the company is making and its future plans. In this way, we all feel that we are members of one big family and we all have an important role to play in achieving its goals”.

He joined the company's workforce in December 2020, as a Restaurant Development Associate, and was recently promoted to Team Lead in the Company's Sales Support department. He humorously remembers as an unforgettable experience the company's attempt to expand in the free province of Famagusta, amid restrictive measures to deal with the pandemic, which forced the executives to look for accommodation in Famagusta for a certain period of time.

As points out, “for the employees, the success of the company is also a personal bet. Everyone tries to offer 100% of their potential from their position. Another element that unites our team is the fact that it consists of young people with passion and love for what they do.” As for the next steps, he notes that “we aim to offer the consumer a service that will take their hands off their hands, allowing them to spend more time with their family or other enjoyable activities.”
