Road works in the Nicosia district are being carried out in the next few days by the Department of Public Works.
According to an announcement from the Office of the District Engineer of Nicosia, Department of Public Works, on Tuesday 27/12/2022 and Wednesday 28/12/2022, between the hours of 09:00 – 13:00, cleaning works will be carried out on the road surface of the central lane of the Nicosia – Larnaca Motorway (A2) until the Lymbia exit.
During the execution of the works, the sweeper will be accompanied by 2 vehicles with light signaling for the safety of both workers and other users of the road network.
Also, on Thursday 29/12/2022 and Friday 30/12/2022, between the hours of 09:00 – 13:00, cleaning works will be carried out on the road surface of the central lane of the Nicosia – Kokkinotrimithia Motorway (A9).
During the execution of the works, the sweeper will be accompanied by 2 vehicles with light signaling for the safety of both the workers and other users of the road network.
The Department of Public Works, states, furthermore, that from Monday 2/1/2023 until Thursday 5/1/2023, between the hours of 22:00 in the evening and 06:00 in the morning of the following day, cleaning works will be carried out on the pavement of the central lane of the motorway Nicosia – Limassol (A1) from Fota tou Kalispera to Skarinos.
During the execution of the works the sweeper will be accompanied by 2 vehicles with light signaling for safety reasons for both the workers and other users of the road network.
The Public Department of Works, apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and calls on the public to show the necessary understanding and to comply with the temporary road markings.
