Yannis Xenophontos: The tender photo hugging his grandmother who “passed away”.

“And after all, this is what we are, our memories”

The family of Yiannis Xenophontos,as on Friday, February 9, his beloved grandmother, Giannoula, passed away.

The journalist and presenter of Alpha Cyprus announced the unpleasant news through his social networks, while yesterday, Monday, February 12, they said their last goodbye to her in Limassol.

Wanting to say goodbye to his beloved grandmother who had a huge weakness for her, he published a snapshot on his personal Instagram account, where we see him tenderly hugging his grandmother, giving her a sweet kiss.

In the caption of his post he characteristically wrote: “And after all, this is what we are, our memories”.
