A Yellow Warning was issued on Wednesday afternoon by the Met Office.
The warning will be in effect from 6:00am tomorrow until 6:00am Friday. .
A combination of showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to affect the area.

Barometric low centered in the Aegean, gradually moving southeast and starting to affect the area.
Tonight, the weather will remain mainly cloudy at times and isolated showers are expected initially. Later, however, local rain and isolated storms are expected, mainly in the west. Snow or sleet will fall on the highest peaks of Troodos and locally on the highest mountains.
Winds will be southeast to south, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort but to the west and locally to the north, moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough to rough and locally rough in the west. The temperature will drop to 8 degrees in the interior, around 11 on the southern and eastern coasts, around 14 on the rest of the coasts and 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where locally frost is expected to form. Tomorrow, the weather will be mostly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms, as well as snow or sleet in the higher mountains.
Winds will be mainly southeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, but transient locally to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough to rough and locally rough in the west. The temperature will rise to 15 degrees inland, around 17 on the coast and 6 degrees in the higher mountains. Tomorrow night the weather will remain mostly cloudy with isolated showers or even thunderstorms, mainly along the coasts. In the higher mountains, snow or sleet may fall. Winds will be mainly northeast to east, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little rough and locally in the west to rough. On Friday and Saturday, the weather will be mostly cloudy and local rains are expected at intervals, without excluding an isolated storm, as well as snow or sleet in the higher mountains
. The temperature is not expected to change appreciably, and will remain close to the average climatic values. On Sunday, the weather will be mostly cloudy with localized showers and isolated thunderstorms expected. Snow or sleet will fall on the highest peaks of Troodos and locally in the highest mountains. The temperature will rise slightly and will range close to or slightly above the average climatic values.
