Yellow warning for very strong winds, up to 9 Beaufort, issued by the Meteorological Service. The warning will be in effect from 23:00 on Wednesday night until 15:00 on Thursday afternoon.

< p>Tonight the weather will be at times mostly cloudy and local rains are expected without ruling out the possibility of a single storm, mainly in the western half of the island. In the early morning hours it is possible for snow or sleet to fall in the higher mountains. The winds will initially blow southeast to moderate, 3 to 4 beauforts, and to the west moderate to strong, 4 to 5 beauforts, to gradually become southwesterly to moderate to strong, 4 to 5 beauforts, and later to very strong, 5 with 6 beauforts. In the morning on the leeward beaches they will blow locally up to strong, 7 Beaufort. The sea will initially be a little turbulent in the west and south to turbulent, while by the early morning hours it will become turbulent to wavy and in the east turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 9 degrees inland, around 12 on the coast and around 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where locally it is possible to form frost.

Tomorrow the weather will be partly cloudy and local rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected, mainly in the western half of the island. Snowfall is expected in the higher mountains. The weather is expected to improve in the afternoon. The winds will blow on the coast southwest as west very strong to strong, 6 to 7 beauforts, and locally to gusty, 8 beauforts, with gusts that can reach 9 beauforts.
