The “police” proceeded to seize 75 kilograms of drugs found on the occupied beaches, in the form of packages, of unspecified origin, writes the Turkish Cypriot press at noon on Monday .
According to “Kipris Postasi”, the press office of the “police” announced that between December 18, 2022 and January 1, 2023, “as a result of comprehensive investigations carried out from the echelons under the general police direction on the coasts, a total of 75 kilos of cannabis-type drugs were seized.”
The “police” asked citizens to “inform the nearest police station without touching the objects” in case they spot suspicious packages on the beaches of the occupied.
