A traffic accident occurred at around 3:30 on Thursday (08/6) in the Tombs of the Kings Avenue when a van type vehicle, which works as a taxi , injured a 71-year-old pedestrian.
According to Sigma's correspondent, Marios Ignatiou, the woman was injured while trying to cross a pedestrian crossing. In particular, the 71-year-old woman appears to have been hit on the head by the side mirror of the vehicle.
Both the Police and an ambulance are at the scene to transport the woman to the Paphos Hospital for treatment and further examinations.

The condition of the woman's health is currently unknown but according to the same information she appears to be out of danger.
