In addition to the applications for the issuance of building permits, it is recalled that from Monday, July 1, 2024, applications for urban planning permits will be submitted and examined exclusively through the “IPPODAMOS” System. the issuance of building permits from Monday, July 1, 2024, the Minister of the Interior proceeded, based on the Regulation of Roads and Buildings Law.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of the Interior, in view of the implementation of the Local Government reform and the actions taken with the aim of simplifying and speeding up the development licensing process, the Decree provides for the electronic submission and examination of applications for building permits, for all types of development, through the “IPPODAMOS” System, with simultaneous electronic payment of the corresponding rights.
“In conjunction with the transfer of development licensing competence from the existing Authorities to the five newly established Provincial Development Organizations, the 1st July 2024 is considered by the Ministry of the Interior as a stage in the licensing of the development, as well as the digital transition of its services” it is added. As mentioned, the main objectives are to improve the service of researchers and investors, but mainly of citizens, to reduce bureaucracy and to reduce delays in the issuance of permits.
