A young man of Arab origin was brought injured shortly before midnight to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Paphos General Hospital with a back injury caused by an ax attack. The young man, according to information from Sigma's correspondent in Paphos, Mario Ignatiou, after a previous fight, was attacked by his compatriots with an ax, resulting in an injury to his back. The incident took place on Nikodimou Mylona Street, near the Paphos District Administration, where, following information given to the Police, one injured person was found. Members of the Police cordoned off the scene and are conducting investigations to locate the two suspects. The same information states that the ax was also found at the scene of the attack.
