The PEP urges the displaced voters, “to first take care of exercising their right to vote for the occupied municipality or community from which they come and then go to the polling center where they will vote for their place of residence and the European elections”.
“Mass participation and the exercise of the democratic right to vote is an obligation of all of us in the struggle to preserve the indelible memory of our occupied territories as well as the strong expression of of our desire to return”, he says.
He notes that the PEP offices throughout Cyprus are at the disposal of the displaced voters for their guidance and information about their polling station. Voters can call 77 77 1974, daily between the hours of 08:00 and 14:30 to receive the relevant information, it states.
