Daniel Nurka, the winner of this year's season of 'Survivor', opened up about his time working as a model in India in an appearance on 'Hello'.
The reality competition winner described the experience of from the country of Asia.
“I worked for 3 months in India as a model. New Delhi was my base. India was divided. There was no middle class. That is, there was a huge class difference. You were either very rich, or you were very poor. I saw enormous opulence, in callings, but I also saw much poverty. I saw the definition of poverty, not not having to buy a new car. People barefoot on the streets, having nowhere to stay, having nothing to eat. Beggar, impoverishment of human life,” he recounted.
Also, he added: “I had an agency, which was a collusive agency over here, which closed some casting for me, go, they closed me or they didn't close me respectively and I have been working. But, it was a terrible experience. The reason I went was to get the experience. To stand up at some point in my life and say: “I'm going to India for a holiday, I'm not going”. So, I said, “Take the opportunity now and work.''
He then referred to his visit to the Taj Mahal: 'I was forced by work to make some trips to India. I went to the Taj Mahal. I understood why it is one of the Wonders of the World. It was iconic, meaning from the moment you walked in and saw it all with the marble, it was perfect. And the story is terrible that he dedicates it to the woman who gave him an heir.
