Περιβλλον&tau ;οσσοοοια εριβαλοντικςδιαχερισης /></p> <p> File photo. </p> <p>The announcement of the 2024 State Grants Plan for the Introduction of an Environmental Management System based on the provisions of the relevant Regulation 1221/2009/EC was announced by the Environment Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, in the context of promoting the Community System of Ecological Management and Environmental Control (EMAS) in companies.</p> <p>According to an announcement by the Department of the Environment, which was transmitted by the GTP, the Plan concerns the provision of state sponsorship to businesses and organizations of all economic activities (private, semi-state or even public sector, as long as it carries out economic activity, which is specified in the Sponsorship Plan) that will install an Environmental Management System according to EMAS, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation 1221/2009/EC, with the aim of dealing with the environmental aspects of businesses/organizations, reducing the use of natural resources and continuously improving their environmental performance.</p> <p>The Plan is based on de minimis aid and provides for the grant of 70% of the costs for the provision of services for the installation of an Environmental Management System, with a maximum amount of €2,000, and the verification and validation of the system, with a maximum amount of €500. With the same amount, €500, the Transition Costs from ISO 14001 to EMAS are also financed.</p> <p>The deadline for submitting applications is 1 November 2024.</p> <p>Right to submit of application have all companies and organizations that will submit an application for registration in the EMAS Register by the above date at the latest.</p> <p>The Plan Guide and the application form can be found on the website of the Department of Environment.
