The 30-year-old suspect was arrested by members of the Police, for the spontaneous offenses of drunkenness and causing concern in a public place, around 9.45 last night, in an area of Paphos, where the members of the Police found him in a state of intoxication and shouting provoking concern.
The members of the Police had rushed to the spot to locate the suspect, after a little earlier, a woman contacted the Police and reported that a suspicious man had entered the yard of her house, where she beat her dog with a stick she was holding, as well as chairs and other objects found in the yard.
After the 30-year-old was arrested by the members of the Police who had rushed to the spot, the owner of the house recognized him as the man who had earlier entered the yard of her house. p>
Following the arrest of the 30-year-old suspect, a man reported to the Police that, around 8.00 pm, a man who resembled the description of the suspect, caused malicious damage to his car. The owner of the car, at the Paphos Central Police Station, where the 30-year-old detainee had been transported, identified the suspect as the man who caused damage to his vehicle.
An arrest warrant was issued against the 30-year-old for purposes two incidents. He was also arrested on a warrant, and was taken into custody, with the Minor Offenses Department and the Animal Police Squad in Paphos continuing their investigations.
