The state of health of the two EAC employees, who were injured on May 20, while performing scheduled maintenance work at an Authority substation in Latsia, remains consistently serious.
EAC Spokeswoman Christina Papadopoulou told KYPE that the condition of both injured remains “consistently serious”.
Asked if the cause of the explosion had been determined, she said investigations were yet to be completed. One investigation is carried out by the Department of Labor Inspection and the other by the EAC.
The blast occurred on May 20 at around 11:20 a.m., when the two employees were carrying out scheduled maintenance work.
Due to the seriousness of their condition, the two injured, 48 and 40 years old, were transported abroad by hospital plane to two specialized centers in Athens and Leipzig.
