Four years after the opening of its first store in Cyprus, the Terkenlis confectionery chain closed its doors. The company has taken down shutters in the last two weeks, while it has also closed its social media pages.
The reasons that led to the decision to lockout are not known, nor are any next steps of the company in the Cypriot market. .
It is recalled that the Terkenlis confectionery chain opened in the Cypriot market in November 2019, on 28th of October Avenue in Engomi, opposite the Mall of Engomi.
It was then , for the company's first store in Cyprus, while its initial plans were to open four more stores in the other cities as well.
Terkenlis Confectioneries, started in Thessaloniki 74 years ago, expanded to Athens and in 2019 they attempted to open outside the Greek market.
