Speaking on Omega's Update Now show, the head of the tracking team, Valentinos Silvestros, said that the chains are observed in workplaces and schools, while as he stressed, chains of cases from social events such as weddings have reappeared.
Where there are loosening and incorrect declaration of contacts as mentioned, transmission chains are identified.
Regarding the issue that arose with the dispute between epidemiologists and the Ministry of Health, Mr. Silvestros said that the tracking team every seven to 10 days, simultaneously updates the data, both at the Ministry of Health and the advisory committee.
Mr Sylvester also said more than 200 people had been diagnosed with coronavirus for the second time. Regarding the possibility of testing in vaccinated people, he said that “I appreciate the contact more. “Depending on how many people have a case then new cases arise regardless of whether the people are vaccinated or not.”
