The information about Omonia's agreement with the GSP was confirmed… by the KOP.
The federation informed in a relevant announcement about the deal, in which it itself played a decisive role, while noting that the agreement concerns the European obligations of the clover and that the discussions for the domestic competitions will be completed soon.
At the same time, the KOP congratulates the two sides “as they showed seriousness and responsibility towards Cypriot football”.
The announcement of KOP:
After constructive discussions that took place in the last twenty-four hours, in the framework of an initiative taken by the Cyprus Football Federation, an agreement was reached for Omonia Nicosia to use the GSP stadium for its European obligations.
At the same time, it was agreed that the two sides within a short period of time complete the discussions on the agreement between them that will concern the domestic events.
Meetings were held both yesterday Sunday at the KOP Offices and today Monday (05/07) where it was possible to reach an agreement between Omonia and GSP to continue their cooperation.
The last and final meeting, on behalf of the KOP, was attended by one of the Vice Presidents of the Federation, Nikos Nikolaou. From the side of GSP, the head of the delegation was the General Secretary George Mitsidis and from the side of Omonia, the head of the delegation was the Deputy Chairman Dimitris Grigoris.
The KOP, as a competent Football Authority, congratulates both sides as they showed seriousness and responsibility towards Cypriot Football.
