Today, the Police proceeded to the arrest of a 41-year-old resident of Nicosia, in order to facilitate investigations regarding an arson case being investigated, in Limassol.
The case was committed around midnight on March 31, 2023. , when a fire broke out in three cars, which were parked in the parking lot of an apartment building, in Germasogeia. The fire was extinguished by members of the Fire Service, while subsequent examinations found that the fire was set maliciously.
As part of the police examinations regarding the above case, a testimony was obtained against the 41-year-old. Based on this testimony, a judicial arrest warrant was issued against him, pursuant to which he was arrested and detained to facilitate investigations.
