The Board of Directors of Invest Cyprus unanimously decided on the appointment of Marios Tannousis as the new CEO of the Organization after a selection process.
Marios Tannousis is currently Deputy CEO Advisor to Invest Cyprus. He has extensive and multidimensional experience in the financial and wider business investment field, in economic development and in the promotion of Cyprus as an attractive investment destination.
His role is decisive for the establishment of the institution of Investment Funds in Cyprus as well as on the recent inbound investments of technology companies in Cyprus.
He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the European Capital and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) as well as the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA). Also a member of the Board of Directors of the Euro-Mediterranean Investment Network, ANIMA.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) of H.B. and holder of a degree in Economics from Rutgers University and an MBA from Mankato State University, USA, while he also holds a Certificate in Fintech from the University of Oxford, Said Business School.
He represents Cyprus in various international and European conferences.
