The June rains have not yet hit the Himalayas and the skies are usually blue without fog. The trails from Namche to Base Camp will be quite busy during May, so take the Annapurna Circuit seriously. May is also Buddha's birthday month, and you'll be hard-pressed to avoid the street dancing and celebrations that erupt all over Nepal. Our advice? If you like partying, head to Bhaktapur or Patan.
