The Fire Service was mobilized in the afternoon to put out a fire that broke out in five National Guard vehicles, which were inside the fenced area of the camp, in Polemidia.
According to the Fire Service, the relevant information was given at 17:52 and the fire was brought under control at 18:12, without endangering anything else inside the camp.
From the fire, the causes of which are being investigated , the vehicles suffered extensive damage.
