The Cyprus Meteorological Department issued a yellow warning for extremely high temperatures on Wednesday.
According to the announcement of the Meteorological Department, the warning came into force from 21:00 yesterday Tuesday until 16:00 today Wednesday.
The maximum temperature inside is expected to rise around 40 degrees inland, around 34 on the west and southwest coasts, around 37 on the rest of the coast and around 32 degrees in the higher mountains.
