A car accident occurred shortly after 4.00 on Wednesday afternoon in the area of Solomos Square, in Nicosia, near the Bus Station.
According to information, under conditions that are being investigated, while a 35-year-old cyclist was crossing the road through a pedestrian crossing, he was dragged by a bus.
Members of the Police rushed to the spot for examinations, while an ambulance was called to transport the cyclist to the General Hospital of Nicosia, in order to receive medical examinations and treatment, since he seems to have injured his leg.
The traffic conditions are being investigated by the Nicosia Traffic Police.
