“No one has come out so far to say that the parody account on Twitter does not belong to me,” Niki Zarou told politis.com.cy, at whose home the well-known case with the Minister of Justice, Emily Giolitis, was investigated.
“The parody account is not mine and I can not imagine how the Cybercrime Service, which tracks accounts around the world, came to the house of a teacher who previously wrote an article in support of Ms. Kalavana,” said Ms. Zarou.
“The warrant states that based on the testimony received, it is the administrator, but when the testimony was requested, they did not present it,” said Niki Zarou and wondered how the Cybercrime Service went to her house. “That's why the warrant was canceled,” he added.
Criminalization of activism?
Commenting on the reasoning of the Police warrant where he states, among other things, that the suspect declares himself an activist and judges the political life of the place, he wondered if “because I participated in the memorial service for the victims of the serial killer, in protests for Famagusta and its campaign means that they had to come to my house “.
“I am going to take legal action against the Republic of Cyprus so that they understand that all these actions have consequences,” he said.

In fact, the Supreme Court annulled the search warrant because there were no reasonable suspicions or sufficient evidence to justify the issuance of the warrant.
