According to Hermes Airports data in KYPE, this is the best performance in passenger traffic, recorded in October at Paphos airport, which creates a positive momentum and for the continuation of the good flow of travelers to Paphos in the coming months.
In detail, in October this year, 163,392 passengers arrived and 168,220 departed. Flights to and from Paphos Airport in October were 80.5% full. Most passengers came from the United Kingdom, Russia and Greece, while the flow of visitors from other countries, such as Poland, Israel, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Ukraine, Austria, France was remarkable. etc.
Entering November and the winter season, passenger traffic will gradually begin to decline, although this winter Paphos will have more flights than it had in the winter of 2019, which was the best year to date for Cypriot tourism. Indicatively, Hermes Airports adds, based on the planning so far, 171 flights a week to Paphos are expected to take place at the beginning of November, which is reduced to 129 at the end of the month and to 122 at the beginning of December.
