POED expresses, in its announcement, its deepest sadness for the death of lawyer Andreas Panagiotou.
According to the announcement of POED, Andreas Panagiotou has been the legal advisor of POED for more than four decades. A tireless supporter, he effectively and forcefully stood by the Organization, providing it with legal advice and assisting it in its claims. A man of morals, honest and consistent, he supported POED in various ways, until December 2023.
His legal opinions are a valuable guide for POED and his name he will remain deeply connected to the history and the claims of the Organization.
“Shocked one and all we say goodbye to him with respect and honor. We express our sincere condolences to his family”, says POED, in its announcement.
