The CSE closed with negligible losses on Thursday

The Cyprus Stock Exchange closed on Thursday with a negligible fall. Its General Index stood at 145.06 points with losses of 0.28%. The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 88.10 points, down 0.31%. The value of the transactions was 2,688,362.44 euros.

In relation to the individual indices, the Main Market had a fall of 0.40%, the Alternative also fell by 0.05%, Hotels closed with losses of 5.44% as did Investments with 0.56%.

< p class="text-paragraph">The most marketable share was Dimitra Investments with a trading volume of 2,009,097.95 euros (closing price of 0.870 euros – 0.57%), followed by the share of Bank of Cyprus with a volume of 517,407.40 euros (closing price of 3.690 euros – up 0.55%), of Hellenic Bank with a volume of 115,719.17 euros (closing price of 2,390 euros – down 0.83%), of Logicom with a volume of 22,350.70 euros (closing price of 2,980 euros – down 0.67%), and Tsokkos Hotels with 6,622.71 euros (closing price 0.054 euros – 0.93% increase).

Of the traded shares, 6 moved up, 6 down and 5 closed unchanged. The number of transactions was 231.

Moreover, the Cyprus Stock Exchange, during the recent evaluation it has carried out for the period between August 2023 and January 2024, regarding the compliance of the listed companies of the Main and Alternative Market (Regulated Market), for compliance with the minimum market value [condition for listing and continuing obligation, Paragraphs 3.2.1(a) and 3.3.1(a) of CPC 379/2014 (as amended)], would like to announce the following:

A.   The securities of the issuers below will continue to be presented with a (S) symbol on their trading tables and price lists in their Market [provision 2.2.6(a) of CCP 379/2014 (as amended)], due to their non-compliance with the above special entry condition/continuous obligation (non-observance of market value):

– LCP Holdings and Investments Public Ltd – Main Market

– CLR Investment Fund Public Ltd – Alternative Market

– Top Kinisis Travel Public Ltd – Alternative Market

– Public Housing Ltd – Alternative Market

– Chris Joannou Public Ltd – Alternative Market

– Unifast Finance & Investments Public Company Ltd – Alternative Market

B.   The securities of the following companies for which no transaction has taken place during the six months under review due to low trading activity, will continue to be presented with a (S) marking since the average market value cannot be calculated due to a lack of trading activity:

    Dome Investments Public Company Ltd

Karyes Investment Public Company Ltd

Display Art Plc

    Unigrowth Investments Public Ltd

    Harvest Capital Management Public Ltd

    NET Info Plc

It is noted that for the securities of the company NET Info Plc, which to date are not presented with a symbol (S), the symbol will be added to the trading tables and price bulletins from Wednesday, March 27 2024.

C.   For the following companies, whose securities are or were suspended from trading on the Surveillance Market during the period under review, the average market value cannot also be calculated due to lack of trading. The companies are:

    Toxotis Investments Public Ltd (suspended from trading)

    Power Investments Public Ltd (suspension has been lifted of trading)

    Aiantas Investment Public Ltd (trading suspension has been lifted)

    Regallia Holdings & Investments Public Ltd (trading suspension has been lifted)

The CSE Council will remove the (S) symbol from the securities of the above companies, when it is established that the reasons that led in the presentation of the markup they have disappeared.
