“Our side does not discuss the opening of new barricades without the opening of the Reds”
The immediate opening of the Red barrier is requested by the Mayor of Kato Pyrgos Tellyria, Nikos Cleanthus.
In his statements to KYPE and on the occasion of the statements of the Turkish leader Ersin Tatar about the opening of the Mias Milia barrier, Mr. Cleanthus stated that the our side must immediately oppose the opening of the Red Pass as a necessary condition.
He recalled statements that our side does not discuss the opening of new barricades without the opening of the Red Pass which would contributes significantly to the removal of the isolation of the residents of Tellyria and will facilitate the daily life not only of the residents of the area and the entire Polis Chrysochous apartment, but also of many Turkish Cypriots who visit Paphos, concluded Mr. Cleanthos.
